M2-100 USB 1.1 All-Fiber Optical Extension Cable

Opticis optical USB extension cables extend USB signals up to 130 feet (40 meters) without requiring any repeaters. They provide a simple, cost-effective way to connect USB devices at long distances from the host while fully maintaining USB protocol integrity thanks to advanced VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) and PD (Photodiode) technology.

Each cable consists of a pair of optical-to-electrical and electrical-to-optical converters housed in compact modules at each end, connected by a fiber-optic cable.
