The Opticis DisplayPort 1.4 Extender, model DPFX-1F14-TR, has been launched to extend DisplayPort 1.4 signals over a single fiber optic connection. This solution allows for transmission distances up to 300 meters (984 feet) and supports up to 8K DSC (7680x4320) resolution at 60Hz. Leveraging advanced Opticis technology, the DPFX-1F14-TR provides a high-performance, long-distance extension option for installations that require extended range beyond traditional copper cabling limits.
The DPFX-1F14-TR is capable of transmitting uncompressed and transparent DisplayPort signals even when connected with a copper cable of up to 3 meters as an intermediary. This feature allows for flexible installation in confined spaces where direct fiber termination may not be possible. A 2-meter copper cable is included in the standard package for added convenience.
To address diverse customer requirements, the DPFX-1F14-TR is fully compatible with the DPFX-700-TR and DPFX-300-TR modules. This interoperability allows users to mix and match direct connection modules and additional extension modules based on specific installation needs, offering greater flexibility in system design.
The DPFX-1F14-TR features a compact, lightweight form factor that ensures ease of installation and provides robust electrical isolation without the risk of electrical hazards or interference. It operates using an external DC power adapter, ensuring stable and reliable performance in a range of professional AV environments.
